Frerichs, Reisig host inaugural County gun violence prevention efforts

“Gun violence is a public health epidemic in this country and is currently the number one killer of children and teens in America. While we are fortunate to live in a state with the strongest gun laws and lowest per capita gun violence, even one death is too many. We all deserve to feel safe in our communities. Through this Collaborative, District Attorney Reisig and I hope to elevate the conversation in Yolo County and proactively work to educate leaders and community members on ways that we can work together to prevent gun violence in Yolo County.” - Supervisor Frerichs
