Davis Farmers Market celebrates 50 years

Frerichs told attendees that on the morning of his wedding 23 years ago, he and his wife Stacie brought their out-of-state friends and family to the Davis Farmers Market because of how integral it has been in their lives. 

“A lot of places don’t have what we have,” stated Frerichs. “I think we’re so fortunate to have that bounty here. I think sometimes we take it for granted. Sharing the joy and gratitude for the Davis Farmers Market with our respected loved ones, I will continue to cherish that day and those memories throughout the rest of my life. I also suspect that each of you have your own series of market memories that have helped shape the moments of your life as well.”
